At Dragon Run Inn you can enjoy the relaxed atmosphere of a 1913 country farm house. Our name comes from the Dragon Run Swamp, which boasts the largest stand of cypress this far north. The house was built with cypress from the Dragon.

We offer yesterday's atmosphere coupled with today's conveniences. Being built as a farm house, inspired our theme. The rooms are named for farm animals. You can spend the night with the cows, pigs, sheep or horses.

Relax in the Jacuzzi and awaken in the morning to the aroma of freshly brewed coffee and a homemade country style breakfast.

The Dragon Run Inn has been accepted into Virginia's Green Lodging Program as we work together to save our natural resources.

Each of our large bedrooms are named for and decorated with farm animals. The horse room has a queen-size bed, horse pictures and decorations. The pig rom also has a queen-size bed and is full of pigs and piglets. The cow room almost makes you want to get up at 5:00 a.m. and milk the cows, but the two double beds say sleep in.

Each bedroom has its own bath room equipped with oversized jacuzzi tub. On cool nights the gas log stoves warm the room and makes for a cozy atmosphere.

Accommodations: 4 rooms and suites. Fresh flowers, fruit basket, homemade treats and beverages await your arrival with advanced reservations. A country style breakfast is included. Additional meals available with advanced reservations (menu and prices vary).

Rates: $110 to $150 per night plus tax for two people.
