King and Queen Information Trail
The King and Queen Information Trail (KQInfoTrail) is a community "electronic village," a part of the Technology Opportunities Program, Getting Rural Virginia Connected. The decision to create the electronic village was the result of a nearly two-year effort by the West Point Technology Committee, which recommended its creation. West Point Fire Department and Rescue Squad
The West Point Fire Department and Rescue Squad was established in 1904 after a fire destroyed a large section of downtown. We are an all volunteer organization with about 40 members who are trained in fire suppression, auto extrication, hazardous material emergencies, emergency vehicle operation and basic and advanced life support.
