Riverwalk Trail
West Point, Virginia (VA)

Cyclists and walkers enjoy the Riverwalk Trail. The trail begins at Glass Island and Kiwanis Park and continues along the walking path under the Lord Delaware Bridge. This route parallels the Mattaponi River past marsh land and includes scenic overlooks. The RiverwalkTrail concludes around 8th Street near former ferry landings and warehouses from the 1800's.

Planning for this project began in the September 2003 meeting of the West Point Town Council.
